I was delighted that my friend Kok Sheik helped and brought me a external camera flash from Japan, adding new gadget to my camera. The flash that I meant was Canon Speedlite 430Ex.
So, why buying an external flash when one is build right on the camera? The answer is simple, it adds more versatility to photography. Instead of firing the flash directly to the object, an external flash with bounce head capability would soften the flash power and eliminate shadow effects to the background, thus the object will look more natural. Besides, external flash also offer faster power recycle.
Looking forward to test the new gadget for my Thailand trip.
